Delinquent payments after the last day of Feb. are payable to Wexford County Treasurer.

SUMMER BILLS:

Mailed June 30. Due September 14.
1% penalty per month begins September 15.

3% penalty after Feb. 15 thru Feb 29

WINTER BILLS:
Mailed November 30. Due February 28 (or 29 in leap year.) Delinquent payments must be sent to Wexford County Treasurer, P.O. Box 293, Cadillac, MI 49601. Phone (231) 779-9475 for penalty information.

OFFICE HOURS:
Summer Tax Season: Daily 9am to 1pm.
Winter Tax Season: Daily 9am to 1pm.

Extended hours: Open 8:00-5:00 on last day that Summer and Winter taxes are due and on one day the last week of December.

PAYMENTS:
Prefer mailed payments. No cash please. After hours drop box by door is for checks only. Paid receipt will be returned for all payments. Make checks payable to Haring Township Treasurer.

SUMMER TAX DEFERMENTS:
Purpose: To defer summer tax payments until Feb. 28 without penalty.
Who can apply: Earned income under $37,500 and one of the following:
            Over age 62 or unmarried widow/widower of a person who was 62. 
            Eligible veteran or widower of veteran.
